- Attention Triathletes and GranFondo Cyclists -

The 2011 Impact MultiSport Base-Camp is 4 days of aerobic intensity triathlon training, with the primary focus on cycling, has been a season-starter for triathletes for the past 9 years - Also gearing towards Penticton's inaugural GranFondo Okanagan cycling event, this is an opportunity for athletes to get together and have a weekend of supported training, in a fun atmosphere.

Impact MultiSport coaches and group leaders will guide cycling routes in the Penticton area that most visiting athletes don't usually experience. Riders will be grouped by ability and/or desired ride distance (or time) for each day. Local athletes will guide each group and back-up support vehicles will be on hand for each ride (and run).

With Easter being later this year, allowing cyclists to be out on the road for a few more weeks of Spring riding, we'll have the options for longer rides this year!

See schedule below for recommended ride distances.

To enhance recovery and the fun factor of the weekend, 2 Yoga classes will be included. Shioki Yoga has a great program suited to cyclists and triathletes.

Also included is a Buffet Dinner and Base Camp souvenir package.
